Farwest Insulation Contracting is a privately held family business specializing in Commercial & Industrial Mechanical Insulation, Scaffolding, Painting & Industrial Coatings, Firestopping, Asbestos Abatement, and Electric Heat Tracing.
Incorporated on September 11, 2003, Farwest Insulation Contracting began operations on December 17, 2004 after acquiring the operating assets of Thorpe Insulation Company. Thorpe Insulation was founded in 1948 in Southern California and quickly established itself as the premier insulation contractor on the West Coast.
Adhering to the objectives and values of the company's founder, the company positioned itself to grow in the markets in which they serve and expanded operations by opening offices in San Diego (1962), Phoenix (1978), Northern California (2000), Northern Nevada (2012), Tucson (2017) and our newest office in Albuquerque (2019).
Today the company employs more than 300 employees across the Southwestern United States.
